THE BRAIN
Finally, information about the brain. Your brain is very complex. So I try to explain it very simply.
We have 3 parts in the brain:
Back part of your brain and brain stem. The primitive brain / reptilian brain (oldest part of your brain. 3.4 billion years old. Dinosaurs had that too and so do today's reptiles).
Middle part/lymbic system. Where emotion and senses are linked to an event. Works closely with the primitive brain.
frontal lobe/front part of your brain. Youngest part of our brain and what distinguishes us from the rest, because this is where the cognitive part of our brain is located. This includes learning/training and communication. This one is about 100,000 years old.
Communication is not possible in the primitive brain and brain stem. Just try talking to a crocodile.
Communication is also not possible in the middle part. Just talk to a dog or cat. Emotion does. When you look into the eyes of your dog or cat there is an emotion that allows you to build a strong bond with your pet. But giving an order to a dog or cat through communication becomes difficult.
Your frontal lobe/front part of your brain is where communication, training, understanding and social skills are possible. Then you probably think; "Where is the survival system with the hypocampus and amachtigala? Unfortunately, it's in the primitive part. So you can't talk to that. Just tell yourself that you don't have to be afraid. Try to make it clear to yourself verbally that you don't have to panic.
Just tell yourself not to worry. Unfortunately that doesn't work.
How do you think you arrive at that?
THROUGH TOUCH. By tapping acupuncture points on your body you can "tell" the primitive brain and brain stem to relax and that you are not in danger. You are not in mortal danger. Even though you have thoughts and beliefs and you experience the same color, smell, sensation, you are not in mortal danger at this moment.
You can then "pass on" that essential information to that part of the brain. Then it will NOT sound the alarm! As a result, your amygdala does not receive any stimulation and your sympathetic system does not activate.
Very pleasant. In addition, you can use the front part of your brain. Your frontal lobe (also called frontal lobe). That is where your communication and training system is located and you can therefore properly investigate why you are so anxious, sad or angry in certain situations with smell, color, shape or taste or with a certain thought or belief.
You can then gain an understanding of why this is so. Then you can use that information to choose what you want to do next. Keep it that way and store it somewhere. Change. Throw away, bend, etc. Whatever you want.
By doing this you can get a grip on yourself and control over yourself. Your thoughts and your emotions.
You can change or throw away old beliefs and replace them with new ones.
How nice is that? How great is that? who doesn't want this? Are you ready to get started with this?
